Samarth Melghat

A Heritage written in rivers, forests & tribal memory

Three sacred rivers Sipana, Gadga and Tapti. Melghat's heritage carried across generations. Showcasing Melghat's rich traditions, culture, and natural beauty to the world while building Melghat into a sustainable tourism destination

SCROLL
The Vision

Heritage as the foundation, tourism as the vehicle

Samarth Melghat envisions a corridor that connects communities across Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Chhattisgarh, and beyond. Home to three rivers, dense forests, centuries of cultural heritage, and the scenic hill station of Chikhaldara — a place deeply connected with the legends of the Mahabharata — Melghat holds immense untapped potential. Our vision is to transform Melghat from a region people pass through into a destination people travel to: for its nature, culture, traditions, and unique experiences.

The goal isn't a monument for outsiders to admire — it's an economy Melghat's communities can own, staffed by Melghat's hands, telling tribal stories.
